Abstract

An unstructured hybrid three-dimensional adaptive finite volume multigrid method for solving the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations is presented. The code is optimized for use on vector and parallel computers. Numerical results as well as overall turnaround times are presented. The DLR-F9 experiment is considered in order to demonstrate the applicability of the code for complex configurations.
