Abstract
A high resolution stereo camera experiment has been proposed by DLR for the Soviet Mars mission in 1994 as part of the Argus TV complex lead by IKI, Moscow. The camera will be designed to address scientific problems from the fields of martian geophysics, geology, morphology, topography, and properties of the surface materials like physical structure and mineralogy/chemistry.
