Abstract
Die Arbeit beschreibt zwei neue Verfahren zur Kompression komplexer SAR-Bilddaten. Zur Kompression der Daten kommen einerseits die Wavelet-Transformation im Zusammenhang mit einfacher Schwellwert- bildung, sowie andererseits die Vektor-Quantisierung zur Anwendung. Die Verfahren sind anhand einiger repraesentativer Beispiele ge- genuebergestellt und qualitativ bewertet.
