Abstract
In this report, an alternative mathematical description is presented in place of the classical backscatter operastor. This description is provided by introducing a generalized backscatter operator that combines the near mapping of the radar scattering operator, S, and the nonlinear operator, K, and map each one of the polarization spaces onto itself.
