Kurzfassung
The German Aerospace Center DLR in partnership with the Gabonese Space Agency AGEOS and the Gabonese National Parks Agency ANPN shall perform a scientific airborne SAR mission on the issue of exploring methods to estimate forest biomass in Gabon in January and February 2016. The mission is called AfriSAR. This document summarizes technical details of the DLR F-SAR radar system installed on board a DLR Dornier DO228 aircraft to obtain authorization for temporary use of frequencies in Gabon.
