Abstract
The MOS-Experiment is dedicated to Ocean Colour Remote measurements, especially for Case-2 type water in Coastal Zones. The main goal is to develop algorithms for retrieval of geophysical parameters and their temporal and regional variation. For the validation of this retrieval methods and algorithms it is necessary to acquire ground truth data for the light field above and below water surface. For campaigns has been built a set of spectrometers for field measurements of atmospheric and aquatic radiation parameters. It has been conducted several ship campaigns in the Baltic, Gulf of Cadiz and around the Canaries. Results of instrument tests and measured or retrieval atmospherical and biooptical parameters are given in the paper.
