Abstract

The different interferometric capabilities of the experimental airborne SAR sensor of DLR (E-SAR) are presented in this paper. Examples are given for single-pass interferometry in X-band for generation of DEM's and for measurement of water surface current velocities. Repeat-Pass interferometric capabilities in L- and P-band include polarimetric decomposition for the 3D-location of different scattering mechanisms, as well as coherence analysis.
