Abstract

The presence of squint in airborne SAR interferometry leads to problems for the precise geolocalization process. The report starts with the analytical description of the signal phase within the mainlobe of the SAR impulse response function in the presence of squint. The effects on the geocoding process are presented and several improvement possibilities are detailed. A processing example using single-pass interferometric E-SAR data is presented.
