Abstract

This paper presents a new processing algorithm for spotlight SAR data processing. The Extended Chirp Scaling Algorithm (ECS) for spotlight SAR processing allows the processing of dechirped raw data. Dueto the use of a novel frequency scaling and SPECAN combined with azimuth scaling, the whole processing is performed without interpolations.
