Abstract

An overview of the operational status and the functional performance of the SCIAMACHY instrument is presented for the period starting with the instrument Switch-On in March 2002 until June 2004. The main instrument nonconformances are addressed together with a summary of some potential counter measures. Operational Change Requests and the Processing Change Requests are the subjects of the last chapters.
