Kurzfassung
This paper presents a detailed review of the different ice protection systems, already developed and in development, which could be installed in a wing leading edge of an aircraft. Areas for possible future research are identied. Furthermore results of contact-angle measurements using different kinds of surface materials and coatings are presented.
