Abstract
Optical measurements for estimation of aerosol optical thickness and aerosol scattering properties were carried out at the Polish Baltic Sea coast. They are used to compute ground-truth data for the Imaging Spectrometer MOS onboard Indian Remote Sensing Satellite IRS/P3. This paper presents some examples using these ground-truth data for validation of MOS-data and for validation of remote sensing algorithms developed for MOS.
