NARSIM - Verifikation der Trajektorien Vorhersage

Kurzfassung

The Institute of Flight guidance is one of the world’s leading research facilities in the field of air traffic management. Among others air traffic simulations are used to perform this research. Especially for the Human-in-the-loop simulations the simulation software Narsim is used. Narsim is capable of simulating close to reality aircraft behavior depending on the equipment state of the aircraft (e.g. equipped with datalink, autopilot or FMS). Within the project flexiGuide the Narsim needs to simulate aircrafts operating on 4D-FMS. One function of the 4D-FMS is the trajectory prediction. This prediction is implemented in Narsim, but until now it has not been evaluated with structured tests by DLR. Within this document the verification of the trajectory predictor is described.
