Abstract
Since end of 2010, the TanDEM-X mission is systematically acquiring raw data for the final DEM generation. After completion of the bistatic calibration phase in 2011, the systematic processing of the bistatic raw data into raw DEMs by the Integrated TanDEM-X Processing System (PS-ITP) has been started. In this talk we will recall the major ITP elements in terms of system and algorithm and report on our first operational experiences. Specific technical processing challenges will be addressed.
