This report is a contribution to the MAAXIMUS activities. It includes the experimental evaluation of the energy release rate under mode I (GIC) of a carbon material basing on DCB tests, the results of the simulations of the GIC tests including parameter studies, the documentation about the manufacturing of test plates to be used for HVI tests, the exploitation of HVI tests conducted on pre-loaded plates.
