Kurzfassung
In the present CFD analysis a detailed study of the installation effects of a CROR (Counter-Rotating Open Rotor) propulsion system in pusher configuration is performed with the DLR-Tau Code. The results obtained show the impact of the installation effects on the power system performance and a better understanding of the complex flow around the power system. Furthermore the mutual CROR-airframe interactions and in particular the 1P-loads developed by the rotors are analyzed.
