Abstract

The objective in this work consists of characterizing a field spectrometer for spectral stray light. Experimental methods using laboratory instruments and a correction algorithm to obtain the original signal without this distortion are presented. Furthermore, reflectance measurements are made in order to test the viability of the spectrometer in certain cases. For this purpose, different setups with color plates are carried out to study the dependence of the intensity of radiance on the set of angles. Other spectrometers are also used for this validation. The characterization of both effects will help us to understand the behavior of spectrometers in more detail.
