Abstract

Computations using the DLR-TAU code are presented to predict the effect of pulsed and constant-flow air jets for the control of dynamic stall on an OA209 airfoil. RANS and URANS computations at constant angle of attack act as a low-cost predictor for the outcome of URANS computations with a pitching motion.
