Abstract

In this paper, the persistent scatterer interferometry (PSI) method is used for measuring the complex deformation signal in volcanic area. To better understand these effects on phase, 2 corner reflectors were installed in Fogo volcano, Azores (Portugal) in the framework of Exupèry project. After the independent PSI processing of each stack a stack fusion method using Iterative Closest Point (ICP) is developed to estimate the elevation offsets. Different acquisition times from the fused results provide us the possibilities to check the robustness and to detect the horizontal deformation. As outputs we could get a denser PS-DEM and a controlled deformation map.
