Abstract

In this poster we present a comparison between limb retrieval results obtained by using the operational and a scientific processor for the SCIAMACHY instrument. The scientific processor uses as forward model, a Picard iteration model, and as inversion model, direct and iterative regularization methods. By contrast, the operational processor uses an approximate forward model with multiple scattering correction and the Tikhonov regularization with a constant value of the regularization parameter.
