A wind-tunnel experiment on laminar flow control by suction at Mach 2 has been performed for an infinite swept-wing configuration. A significant delay of laminar-turbulent transition could be achieved in this experiment using a suction panel manufactured from porous sinter material. The transition locations from experiment were used to determine the corresponding transition N-factor values. The transition N-factor values obtained for the different test cases are independent of the suction rate and moreover similar to those found for the reference model without suction panel.
