The measurement of airframe noise on small-scale models at full-scale Reynolds numbers is ofgrowing interest for research and development. Increased Reynolds numbers can be achieved in pressurized and/or cryogenic wind tunnels. Whereas promising studies has been carried out in pressurized (and mild cryogenic) environment even these cannot generally achieve full-scale Reynolds numbers. To achieve full-scale Reynolds numbers in pressurized and cryogenic environment, further development of the measurement technique for cryogenic conditions is needed. As previously presented by the author, an array for cryogenic application has been developed and successfully applied to a single rod configuration. Based on these results, a new microphone array for the application to measurement of airframe noise was developed.
