Abstract
Results of the EMMA2 Validation trials were presented: 1. Technical feasiblity of higher A-SMGCS services (DMAN, TAXI-CPDLC, with EFS as enabler) was shown in field and flight tests at the Prague Airport with DLR test aircraft ATTAS. 2. Operational feasibility was proven with positive feedback to the EMMA2 checklist. 3. Operational improvements e.g. in terms of reduced stop times and higher situation awareness for the users was shown in three real time simualtions at DLR facitilies (Apron and Tower Simulator; Generic Experimental Cockpit).
