Abstract
In this report we describe the clearance criteria which are intended to serve for robustness analysis purposes within the COFCLUO project. Several criteria related to the assessment of stability, handling quality, turbulence caused loads, non-exceedance of protection limits and actuator damages due to fatigue are de¯ned. For each criterion, we describe the necessary evaluation model, the employed indicators, and the criterion de¯nition and evaluation procedure. A selected set of criteria will form the basis for the implementation of a criteria library to serve for the optimization based clearance.
