Abstract

The paper describes the GTD dyadic diffraction coefficient of an edge in an impedance surface. The coefficient is derived from an exact semi-analytical solution of the canonical problem of diffraction of an obliquely incident plane electromagnetic wave by an infinite wedge with impedance faces. Numerical examples address the diffraction coefficient of a right-angled brick-wall corner at a microwave frequency.
