Abstract

In this paper a new approach of CFD supported wind tunnel testing is presented based on investigations of the DLR project ForMEx. The numerical simulation and respectively the analysis of the wind tunnel experiment considering all geometrical and aerodynamic conditions show improvements of today's wind tunnel testing techniques which is outlined in this paper for the wind tunnel DNW-NWB.
