Abstract

The purpose of this note is to identify, estimate and summarize the propagation effects being capable of influencing the external calibration (XCAL) of TerraSAR-X and to describe the strategy to handle these effects. Therefore investigations on effects are provided and mitigation methods for the external calibration of TerraSAR-X are described.
