Abstract

The paper contains the work done up to now for deriving a DEM calibration concept for TanDEM-X. Starting from the error sources influencing the generation of the highly accurate TanDEM-X DEM a simulation tool is described to gain experience how to minimise these errors by calibration and with the gained experience developing the calibration concept.
