Abstract

A computer program was developed to calculated laser-induced fluorescence excitation spectra of the oxygen molecule. These spectra were calculated for the typical nonequilibrium temperature conditions of supersonic nozzle expansions with respect to the vibrational and rotational degrees of freedom up to 2000 K. The predissociative electronic transition of the 0 2-molecule B3 X3 /Schumann-Runge absorption bands) was considered. The spectra within the tuning range of the ArF*-excimer laser (192.9nm - 193.8 nm) were theoretically studied.
