Abstract

The results of the exact stability method are compared to results of a simplified data base method and an algebraic expression. Two different airfoils, the DoAL3 and RAE 2822 airfoil, and the laminar glove (tapered wing) on the Fokker 100 are used for the exercise. The pressure distribution, the boundary layer- and the stability data are presented, using the incompressible- and the compressible strategy for the stability analysis.
