Abstract

A central-difference multigrid scheme for the Navier-Stokes equations is extended for computation of hypersonic flows over 2D ramps. The modifications of the multigrid algorithm which are necessary to capture strong shocks are discussed. Finally, results for three Mach &#61 5 high-Reynolds-number test cases of the Antibes Workshop are given.
