Abstract

The results of experiments with a large half model of an aircraft with a laminar glove are discussed. Wind tunnel flow quality and profiledrag have been measured and transition effects observed. By controlling the pressure distribution data from flight tests have been matched. In this report, the necessity of the simultaneous use of many different measurement techniques for laminar testing is confirmed like optical methods, frequency resolving sensors and pressure distributions.
