More than 15000 position of moving objects have been detected on 74 plates and films obtained at the European Southern Observatory in Chile and athe Anglo-Austrian Observatory in Australia during Jupiter's oppositions in 1992 and 1993. two or more positions have been secured for about 3400 asteroids, and orbits have so far been calculated for about 2500 asteroids. The majority of these asteroids are previously undetected. We present apparent magnitudes for all observed asteroids and absolute magnitudes for those asteroids with orbits. We present model-diameters based on a Monte Carlo approach using the albedo distribution found by the IRAS Minor Planet Survey (Tedesco et al. 1992). Model-diameters are also calculated forthe asteroids observed in the Palomar-Leiden Survey of Faint Minor Planets, PLS, (van Houtenet al. 1970). Statistics of orbital elements are presented and compared with the results of the PLS.
