Abstract
Eine neuartige Anwendung von Infrarotdetektoren fuer die Erkennung von Wild wird vorgestellt. Das Geraet detektiert die Tiere (Saeuger, Voegel) aufgrund ihrer Infrarotstrahlung, die sich von ihrer Umgebung (Wiese, Feld) unterscheidet. Das System kann zur Wildrettung bei der Fruehjahrsmahd, aber auch fuer Wildzaehlungen undfuer Artenschutzzwecke eingesetzt werden.
