Abstract

The far infrared is a spectral domain with increasing importance for remote sensing of the atmosphere. The aspects of absolute frequency and intensity measurements with a Fourier transform spectrometer will be discussed with respect to remote sensing of trace constituent molecules in the stratosphere.
