Abstract

The use of new range and azimuth scaling function is explained for geometrically scaling SAR, ScanSAR or Spotlight SAR images already during raw data processing. The efficient implementation of these new phase functions is described for the case of the extended chirp scaling algorithm. For implementing the range scaling operation no additional computations are required.
