Abstract
This year the DLR commemorates the 60th anniversary of the location of the Institut fuer Hochfrequenztechnik in Oberpfaffenhofen. On this occasion, it is very worthwhile to look back to the development which has immensely contributed to progress in the field of radio frequency technology in Germany.
