Abstract

This paper presents a generalized formulation of the extended chirp scaling approach for high precision processing of air- and spaceborne SAR data. The algorithm incorporates a new azi- muth and range scaling function, which allow an effective phase- preserving processing of SAR and ScanSAR data without inter- polation.
