Abstract

The fringe equivalent currents for arbitrary aspects of observation have been chosen for the evaluation of the fringe field to be added to the physical optics field. Various objects are analysed: a flat plate, an electrically small ogive with the incident field perpendicular to the dominating edges, a double dihedral with strong depolarizing features and a generic airplane with stealth characteristics, the two latter objects with arbitrarily oriented edges with respect to the incident field.
