Abstract

The radar signature models SIGMA (monostastic) and BISTRO (bistatic) are based on the physical optics (PO) and the physical theory of diffraction. The state of development of both computercodes is explained. The tools for validation - theoretical and experimental ones - and the results are presentedin detail. Objects for the verification are a flat plate over the seasurface, a periscope, a cube and an ogive.
