Abstract
The report describes how simple analytic functions to approximate the Maliuzhinets half-plane function can be derived from Taylor expansions given by Bucci. On the basis of the approximation formulas the computer code MALIUZBS has been developed with which tabulated values as well as diagrams of the half-plane function can be established. Accuracy checks are made by comparison with the results of Bucci who evaluated the exact function by numerical integration.
