Abstract
Die Prinzipien der Radarrueckstreuung fuer elliptisch polarisierte Wellen wurden dargelegt. Insbesondere wurden aus der Kon-Aehnlichkeit der Basistransformation Huynen's optimale Polarisationen abgeleitet. Zum Abschluss wurden die mathematischen Ergebnisse an Hand aktueller Messdaten demonstriert.
