Abstract

This paper presents the specification, conceptual design and processing approach of a new, high resolution, real-time processor for the experimental SAR-System of DLR. Recent results achieved during the development phase are also reported. The dedicated hardware, which uses digital signal processors, programmable logic devices and other integrated circuits, is under development at DLR.
