Abstract

Aus polarimetrischen C-Band-Radardaten abgeleitete Signaldaempfungen bei 19.77 GHz werden mit gemessenen Radiometer- und Bakendaempfungen auf dem Olympus-Satellitenpfad verglichen. Die Daempfung durch Regen,Schnee und die Schmelzschicht, sowie die Abtastung des Pfades mit dem Radar werden im einzelnen behandelt.
