Abstract

Different approaches to measure the antenna diagram can be found in literature. The DLR approach uses a greater number of high precision calibration receivers, lined up in cross-track direction, to record azimuth slices of the antenna pattern. The actual inflight elevation pattern is than obtained by time-correlating these cuts.
