Abstract

The INTA jointly to a group of Spanish Universities and the DLR, performed a viability study about a demonstrator of robotic servicing technology on LEO satellites. One of the output of this analysis was to establish a research platform where to test the main technologies identified previously. On this paper a description of the main characteristics of the basic simulation set up, which cover the teleoperation, vision and end-effector field, are described in detail.
