Abstract
This paper describes the operational support of the ground operationssegment for telerobotic activities in orbit. This is accompplished by a hardware-in-the-loop real-time facility serving for realistic simulation of ground-based telerobotics. The pilot-version of the simulator focuses essentially on proof-of-concept-testing for advanced in-orbit servicing procedures, development of new simulationtechniques, human teleoperator training and support during actual misssions, verification of the ground segment for teleoperations, and post-mission simulations.
