Abstract

This note describes the system of Maneuver Planning Equations for geostationary orbit control and method to solve it precisely by iterative differential corrections applied to some initial approximation, a one-dimensional minimum search of a cost function representing fuel consumption. The results are compared with a previously derived analytic solution and found to be in very good agreement.
