Abstract
Der Vortrag gibt eine Übersicht über die historische Entwicklung des Fluglärmproblems. Er beschreibt die Mechanismen der Schalleerzeugung durch Fluglärm, technische und operationelle Verfahren zur Minderung von Fluglärm sowie deren Effekte und gibt einen Ausblick auf das in Zukunft zu erwartenden Lärmminderungspotenzial.
