In this study, a numerical analysis of supersonic mixing processes using streamwise vortices of single spanwise row configuration was made on a scramjet combustor with "Alternating-Wedge (AW) strut" injector which has alternativ upward and downward expansion ramps arranged in spanwise directions at the strut aft-body and has been investigated to control the supersonic mixing and combustion. Main purposes of the present study are to validate our CFD code by comparing to the experiments and to investigate the formation process of the streamwise vortices by the AW strut and their roles on the mixing enhancement.
